We are based in our own studio within the sports club, which is fully equipped to cater for children aged 4 to 12 years providing wrap around care. We have a small, enclosed outside area for children to play but also offer plenty of visits to local parks, beaches, forests, cinema and much more. Our holiday activity timetables are available 3 weeks before each school holiday.

Aims

At Kidzone we aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment, offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care.

What we offer

The children are free to choose the activities and resources they wish, including dressing up and role play, board games,

construction toys, reading, craft/cooking activities, computer games, PS3, Wii, scooters and Diddy bikes, ball games and much more.

During the school holidays we offer a full timetable of activities and days out for all ages to enjoy.

Food and Drink

We provide a range of foods, including fresh fruit, toast, wraps and crumpets with a selection of sweet and savoury fillings. These are also provided during holiday club however, children are required to bring a packed lunch and refillable drinks bottle to holiday club sessions.

We promote independence by encouraging the children to help prepare their own snacks and to clear away after themselves. We allow children to decide when they are ready to eat, but request that food is to be consumed whilst sitting at the snack table. Fresh drinking water and squash are available at all times. We also meet individual dietary requirements and parental preferences wherever possible. The food we provide at the club during after school sessions is not intended as a substitute for a main evening meal but a healthy snack. At Kidzone, we recognise the importance of healthy nutrition for children delivered in a calm and friendly setting.
